NYC with the best
Me and Markus woke up around 7 today and I made him pancakes for breakfast and then we went and picked up my parents and sister at the hotel. At 8.45 we left Dolyestown for NY, and how crowded it was there today, omg! You could barely move on the streets in the afternoon. Way too much people around, haha. But NY is still NY, just love the city!
I bought two pair of jeans and Erika shopped a little bit too, and we saw Rockefeller Center and so on, just had a great day. I just enjoy spending time with my family, it feels so good to have them here.
Back home we just had dinner and now I am gonna sleep, will be great tomorrow :) Eating Swedish candy right now, just love it!

Happy girl!
I got up at 7.30 to throw the sheets in the machine, then I went back to bed and slept for two more hours and switched it before I left to the train station. At 2.30 I was at the airport Terminal A, and there I found out the the flight was 45 minutes late. So I sat down and read my book, and at 4.30 my parents, Markus and Erika finally came through the doors. Hugs! I cried, missed them so much!
trainride back home felt pretty quick, and I drove them to their hotel so they could check in and then we went to McDonalds(don't ask me why, Erika wanted to go there..) I showed them "my" house and then we drove back to the hotel again. Kidnapped Markus, he is gonna sleep with me tonight, finally!
I opened the Christmas/Birthday gifts when I got back home.

Ready for bowling after a long day
The day today was pretty good, had a couple of fights with the girl, but it was okay. We played a couple of boardgames and played outside, then it was time for the entist for them, my hostmum took them there.
At like 6 p.m. I got upstairs again, and spent time with them and the twins since my hostparents had a phone conference at 6.30. It was great, and it felt so relaxed.
Now, ready for bowling 10.30, will be fun, even but I am not that good at it, but anyway, haha...

Powernap
Exactly what I think I will do now since my hostmum took the kids to the dentist.. I feel so tired, and I don't wanna be tired tonight since I think it'll be karaoke again, haha.
Will probably be working until like later, like 8.30 p.m. tonight, and then go. Tomorrow's gonna be a good day!

Just at home
Yesterday me and the kids stayed at home the whole day, just playing outside and playing with all their new toys. Had a great day, but was tired when my hostmum got home. Well, still sick, but I just couldn't stand not going to the gym anymore, was three weeks ago since last time. I did one hour spinning and then half an hour on the machines. There was an employee that said he hadn't seen me there in a long time, haha. Well, since I've been sick so...
Now, gonna play a game with the kids after breakfast.

Ice skating and night with the girls
I got up around 8 this morning, took a shower and then went to Honda to have a service on my car.. And you wanna know what a service costs here? $27, omg. It is so cheap compared to home. Got back home and was hoping to skype my parents but no.. Today they were out of internet because of the storm last night. Well, maybe tomorrow, but it is so hard when I am working.
The kids wanted to go ice skating so that is what we did. A lot of fun, the whole family there, I really enjoyed it and had a nice time. Back home I just got ready to go to Chris for dinner and movie night. I picked up Amelie and then we drove over there. We had a lot of fun and watched Love Actually, a great Christmas movie!
On our way home, me and Amelie stopped at WaWa to put gas in the car, and how we laughted. I did things wrong, said the wrong pump number to the cashier, and then the guy that was putting gas in the car at that pump I had mentioned was so nice that he changed spot with me, haha. And there were some guys that were flirting with us too, haha. We laughted the whole way home.
Now I am back home again, just gonna go to bed, since it is regular time; 5.30 a.m. tomorrow. Woohoo, haha...

Longwood Gardens
My hostmum talked to me yesterday about Longwood Gardens and that it is so beautiful during this time. So, I texted Terese, Amelie and Chris and we decided to go there the four of us, so 2.45 they were at my house. We came in there and walked around outside in the garden which probably is more beeautiful when everything is green and so on... Then we came to the Christmas part, inside garden. It was so beautiful, it is hard to describe it. And afterwards when we got back outside again and all the lights were on, so nice!
Then we headed back home and had dinner at a place, we had buffet. Ate so much that we became tired, haha. So full! The day was great and I really enjoyed it, the girls are awesome!
Got back home and watched a movie with the family, now I am gonna sleep, or maybe watch a movie..

Amelie + Shopping = Great combo
I could sleep in this morning, which was nice. The girl got in at 8 anyway, she wanted to play... I told her to go upstairs again, and then I'd be upstais at 9.. didn't really work that good but anyway, it was fine. I was skyping with Markus in the morning and was hoping to skype with my family too, but no... Made me a bit sad, all the days, but not Christmas Eve. Anyway, went shopping with Amelie, kind of shopping to make ourselves feel better about not being at home on Christmas.
I ended up with some clothes and an awesome New Years dress, omg. I just love it! Both me and Amelie were like WOW when I tried it on, and I just had to buy it.
Got back home around 6 p.m. or so, and still alone, which meant that my hostparents didn't get called in today, must have felt good for them.
Now, I'll just watch a movie out on the big screen and then sleep.

At home with Nana and the kids
Today I could sleep in, and felt so rested at 8 when i got upstairs. And the kids were still sleeping!? Well, must be nice for them to sleep in sometimes. We went to Target, and Learning Express, and ended up with a lot of toys's for the kids, and they were happy. We had lunch at home and my hostmum called and she was not coming home, both of my hostparent's were on call today. My hostdad got home and then he left again. It must be hard for them. Well, anyway, me and Nana showered the kids and then I went with Amelie to have dinner and go to the movies.
Felt bad about leaving Nana alone with the kids, but they were showered and everything when I left so :) And it was good, cause when I left, my hostdad called and said he'll be home in 30 minutes, so felt better. Me and Amelie had such a great time tonight! I laughted a lot, will miss her sooo much when she goes home in January! And Mission Impossible was such a great movie, haha!
Came home exactly at the same time as my hostmum tonight, talked to her for a bit and now I am gonna sleep.
Allready Christmas Eve at home... Maybe I'll go to Amelie tomorrow since she was gonna sit alone at home, NOT on Christmas! Might go there in the night then :)

Short update
Will just be a short update today, since I am getting tired and it is getting late. We went ice skating tody and they did really good actually. In the very end I fell and became unconscious, I didn't hit my head, but got unconscious anyway. My knees and elbows are hurting right now. But I drove home safely anyway.
We picked up Nana, and in the night I went to Rich, and went out to a karaoke bar with his friends. I had a great time, and it was so fun! A lot, didn't get to sing tho, was going too, but I had to go home. The weather was really bad, and it took a while to get home.
No, bed is waitng for me.

Great day at home and at the movies
The girl got up at 5.40 today.... felt like.. kill me or something. Wanted to go back to sleep on the cauch, but couldn't then. Well, anyway, she was sitting there watching some tv and I watched with her. The boy came down around 8 and then I made them pancakes for breakfast, they like that, haha.
Decided with Chris to go to the movies with the kids at 2 p.m. so we headed there and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks; Chipwrecked.. Totally awesome, haha! Think both me and Chris enjoyed it.
We went back home, my hostdad made some dinner and I kept playing with the girl, the whole night. Even helped her shower today. We had a great time together, and she made my hair, too bad I don't have a picture of that cause it looked pretty good actually. Think she used all of my bobby pins and clips, but didn't look bad anyway :)
Ooh, yeah, she also gave me this as a Hanukkah gift today, saying; you can't wear it, but you can have it as a souvenir.
How cute she is!
Gonna shower now, then get ready for bed. Big day tomorrow, gonna take the kids Ice skating in Warminster with Chris and her kids. The biy has never been doing it before and the girl has been doing it a couple of times. Will have to teach them :)

Such a nice day and first day of Hanukkah
The kids Winter Program at school were really good and then I just took them home and made lunch. We had a great day today, playing "dance contest", concert, playing outside and just have a great time. As usual I drove the boy to Hebrew School and then me and the girl watched some tv when we got back home, she was cute, cuddling up in my lap.
Since it was the first say of Hanukkah today, the kids were excited to light the first candle and get Hanukkah gifts. The girl got Roller Skates and the boy got a Golf putter thing, so you can practice indoor. They will get something small each of the eight days I guess.
I also got some things, unexpected!
Pink Collection - Victorias Secret; Love it! And think she knows what colours I like.. So nice!
Kind of a scarf, but with a hood on it, also really nice, and cool! the gloves were even warmer, so nice.
As my hostmum said, this will be good when you come back home to Swedish winter next year :)
Today has been such a nice day, and I ended it with a coffee and some chatting at Starbucks with Becca, really nice.
My mood is on top right now, and a little sense of Christmas feeling is coming, but Hanukkah is also nice.

Yaaaaaay, finally, finished my final, printed it and I am gonna hand it in around noon. Wooohoo, so happy right now!
The kids have early dismission in school today, so will pick them up pretty soon too. Will see how this day turns out.

Sunday = Studies and movie
It was a nice day, slept in and felt rested even but I couldn't sleep Saturday cause of my nose anyway... Well, I did some studies during the day, finally, ALMOST done with the finals! Just some things left to do today. I picked up Amelie at 3.45 to go to the movies, we watched The Descendants, it was so sad! I cried, a lot. After movies we headed towards California Pizza Kitchen, and the food was sooo good! I love it.
That was pretty much my day, and Amelie saved my day.. We were talking about nose spray, and then she said taht she has got one I can get since she is going home pretty soon! Woohoo, finally, a night of sleeping good.
Now, gonna sleep a while and then finish my final!

I could pull my hair off...
My day was so nice, spent it in Philly walking around at the Christmas market and then through China Town and then South Street, so nice! I was working tonight, having the kids and one of the twins at home since my hostparents wanted to go to a dinner.
The night was good, so nice, and the girl was so nice, sitting in my lap watching Tv and just cuddling. Until I was gonna put her to bed..... A lot of trouble. well, she watched some Tv in my hostparents bedroom and then she kind of fell asleep so I helped her into her room, and then she was like sleeping for 5 minutes or so. Then she woke up and.. omg! Crying cause I told her to stay in bed, not to get her balloon in bed, and a lot more. She was crying and crying and crying, just cause I told her not to do something. But that's how she is. Finally I managed talking to her a bit and said in a nice way that you know I love you, and you are the best girl in the world. Cause she really is, so nice mostly.
I rubbed her back and made up a story about a girl and her adventures and she was listening and got sleepy again, until the door opened and her mum and dad got home. Then she began again. Guess she wanted to show them she was still awake, at 10.15. The boy was also pretty hard to get to bed today, but that is cause the boy twin was here, and he really enjoys spending time with him.. So didn't wanna go to bed.
Now I just got back home from the Pharmacy, bought some things that propably will help me fall asleep. Fixing my nose ;)
Gonna continue watching 102 dalmatians now, haha.

Slow Friday
I felt pretty good when I woke up today, took an Ipren for my headache just to get rid of it. The kids were good and they knew I didn't feel good so they were actually really quiet. I slept for two more hours and then I did some more studies, I did a part of the third part of the paper.
As I felt pretty good today I really wanted to do something, but my friends were either too tired or didn't want to get sick.. So well.. I just ended up having a skype group conversation with Chris and Terese, how social we are, haha. I've been watching some Swedish shows on Kanal5 play and now I'll sleep. Philadelphia tomorrow at 11, wanna see the Christmas Market.

Still not better
Got the kids up today and ready for school, but after that I was exhausted as I said earlier. So slept pretty much the whole day today again. And I've been sleeping since I was off tonight too, and still wanna sleep, guess my body needs it.
My hostmum called me in the middle of the day and she also asked what happened last night, they needed me to work. Well, I explained, that I thought I could go since they both were home and she said just ask, that is better. And she also said I sounded pretty miserable, guess I did, my voice isn't that good right now.
I took the kids of the bus, drove them to Karate and then just talked to my hostmum for a while.. before going back to bed again. Just going outside to the car and drive them over made me exhausted, where is my energy?
At least I finished my second part of the final exam today, two down, two left to go! Hard to do it though, but I did something.
Goodnight, hopefully I will wake up and feeling fine tomorrow, with nice weather outside!

Morning
This morning was pretty good, but began with taking an Ipren, which resulted in a lot of sweating, fever today again. Anyway, my hostad asked me this morning what happened last night, "You went down and then came back to make yourself some dinner, then I didn't see you anymore". Wonder if I shouldn't have gone downstairs at 4.45, but I thought I could since both my hostdad and hostmum were at home by then. It confuses me, when I can go to my room or not!
Maybe I should ask them if it is okay to go before I go, think I'm gonna do that from now on.
Well, I still feel like I could sleep a whole day, so I am going back to bed now.

Sleepy day
It's been a day with alot of sleeping, and still feel like I could sleep for 24 more hours or something. Didn't even get out of the house today, and nothing helped my fever. Need "Alvedon" for sure, that always helps. Well, Ipren helped a little bit, but didn't take my headache away.
At least I got started a little bit with my final today, a little bit done, a lot left to do. I could have been sick the whole next week, why right now when I really really need my time?
Okay, think I will fall asleep any minute, and it is only 7 p.m. but might need it.

Waking up
Today I woke up as usual at 5.15, but something felt strange.. I could barely breath. Now I know where my headache came from yesterday, cause today I can't feel my throat. And as usual it starts with headache and moves on to a cold...Need to go to the pharmacy later to buy some mircacle pills or whatever, this is horrible.
And I am supposed to start with my Final today, have to do that. Some more sleep and then I should be fine. Or at least have some more energy.

Exploding head
Today I did the oral presentation and the test, felt pretty good. Think I'll get around 40 out of 50 on the test, but the presentation is hard to tell... Anyway, my head feels like it is gonna explode any minute, and I don't know what to do about it! Took two pills before I drove the boy to hebrew school, so can't take anymore right now. Will try taking my contacts of, see if that works. Hopefully it does, cause I am going out for a coffee later.
Anyway, now it is just the final exam left, the BIG final exam! I will try put some effort into that..

Studies, keep up the good work!
I just couldn't sleep yesterday, guess I feel asleep around like 2. a.m. or so, omg, how bad I slept when I fell asleep, guess I woke up every half hour or so! Tired this morning then, but did everything, and I really had to go back to bed, couldn't have made the day otherwise. I did some more studies, and then picked the kids up from school around 3 p.m. Me and the girl made homemade icecream, it was funny! I didn't taste, but hopefully it tasted good..
Now I have only like 3 chapters left to read through... and the test is tomorrow. Oral presentation too, will be so nervous! Hopefully I'll do a good reault on both, I kind of need it, cause I really want an A as a grade, at least A-..
Well, back to preparations now, might be late tonight, but it is worth it for the test!

Hard work, work, work
Slept until 11 today, skyped, and then went to Barnes and Nobles to study. I sat there with my gingerbread latte and my books between two and seven, then I went to the movies with Chris and Terese. We saw New Years Eve, totally awesome! That was pretty much my day... I barely saw my hostparents or the kids today, they had a lot of activities.
Now I'm just gonna take a shower and then hopefully fall asleep without any problems today.

Fancy Christmas party
I got home pretty late today, like around 3.30, just showered and got ready for a Christmas party at Terese's house. Drove over to Chris around 5 and we got ready together, and then headed to Terese. And OMG, the first thing we see is Valent parking.. which means a guy who just takes the keys to the car and then park it for you and pick the car up when you wants to leave. Then; a read carpet walking into the house! And inside the house... A lot of British decorations, a Tavern in the basement with a bar, a lot of catering food. You name it, it was there!
We had some food and drank "Margaritas", and had a lot of fun. 200 people in their house, the house is really huge!

Tonight's gonna be a good night
Picked up the kids from school today, and to be honest, I havent had time doing so much studies.. It was pretty much in and out of the house when I got back from colonial day, and have to do my work too, the laundry... So well, when am I gonna have time for that, good question. Probably on Sunday then.
Tonight will probably be an awesome night out, right Becca? Will be a lot of fun! Gonna sleep over there and then back home tomorrow to pick up my stuffs and go to a huge Christmas party at Terese's house, will be fun.. British theme, me, Chris and Terese will just were different colours on our tights; red, blue and white, easypeasy!

Colonial day
The boy has been doing a project that they do in 3rd grade, a colonial project, in school. They have been doing menus, and have a manuscript to read after.. So today is the day when they are gonna show the parents the work. It is colinial day. I really want to see what they have done, cause he put so much effort in doing this project,so will go to the school to visit.
Gonna meet up with L, cause she needed someone to go with her, otherwise her teachers didn't allow her to go. For me the time doesn't really matter, so why not go with her around 10?

Late studies
My day was pretty good today, getting the kids ready in the morning, class in the middle of the day and then driving the kids to Karate and wait for them there for an hour in the night. Guess we were back home at 6.30 or so.
My hostmum had made us dinner and then I just did some more laundry and went down to my room. I didn't do much, just relaxed. But I got an idea really quickly... Did the powerpoint presentation for my oral presentation on Tuesday, great! Done, finito.. Just the test left and then the big final exam; the brochure!
How should I do my priorities tomorrow, that's the question.. The test is really important, but so is the final.. So, what should I do, study for the test or writing the big final? Have to think about it...
Going to sleep now, really tired again, but as usual, I probably will have a hard time falling asleep!

Tough day
The morning today was... horrible. It was out of my hands, couldn't handle it. The girl just kept screaming and kicking, didn't know what to do since she had to go to the schoolbus. Well, her mum was at home so that was good for me.
The rest of the day I studied and got a lot done. Read all the pages that were left for the test on Tuesday, corrected a little bit that was needed in my essay, did my homework, so now I am pretty much done.. or not!
"Just" a test, an oral presentation, and one final exam left.. seems like everything is on Tuesday too, will be a tough one. The oral presentation, omg, don't want to do it!
Well, when the kids got home the girl wasn't easier than this morning, this day was hard, but some days are like this and I guess that's how kids are. I took her to her room and kept her there until she calmed down.. talked to her that it is not accaptable and then we were fine. Went to build her "house" in the livingroom. That was fun!
At least the day ended good with her. The boy is not a problem at all, really easygoing.
Now my choices for the night are: Study or Tidy up in my room.. tough choice!

Asked out on a date
The morning began good, the kids were so good and I like those mornings... Well, did some studies, but guess I fell asleep for another 30 minutes or so, and I know mum; I am not supposed to do that, but I just couldn't keep my eyes open!
I did some more reading before class, and went to class in the middle of the day. I really thought it was funny today, we did our groupactivities, always nice. Well, got my interview assignment back after class, and the result: an A+... Happy girl again. Seems like I am doing good! After class a guy in the class asked me how I did, and I showed him, we went out from the classroom and chatted a little bit. Almost by the cars he suddenlly just asked me; Do you wanna go on a date with me? I was chocked, didn't know what to answer, haha. I didn't expect that! So the only thing I could say was; Eeehmm... Eeehmm... No? Or.. what? Well, he just continued talking like nothíng had happened. Made my day anyway!
Drove the boy to Hebrew School and then picked him up again 1½ hour later. Worked until 7.30 today, but we had a great time today, no problems at all!
And since I didn't go to the gym this morning, I HAD to go tonight. Got Rebecca to go with me, and how we laughted. We always do. Gonna shower,

Weekend in Boston
We had a great weekend in Boston, came there early Saturday morning and had a great day, with nice weather. Walked down the Freedom Trail and went out to see Harvard University, but the campus was closed, since the occupation is still going on there. Too bad, now I wanna go back there to see the campus! We were pretty tired after walking and so on the whole day, so at 6 we went to our hostel, a real nice one in Central City Boston. Guess all three of us were asleep at around eight p.m. Exhausted, or I was at least, since a bus isn't that comfortable sleeping on....
Sunday we spent up in skywalk taking pictures out over Boston and then we went to the Public Library to see the architechture, amazing!
Were back home at 11.30 p.m. , after a buschange in NYC.
Home sweet home!

Boston, we are coming!
Yes, I am now getting ready for a weekend in Boston with my two awesome friends Chris and Terese. Packing the last things and then I'll take my car and drive to Doylestown to take the train down to Philly, bus from Philly to NY, and then bus from NY to Boston. Will be an awesome weekend!

Not much work
Yesterday night I didn't really have to work much, my hostmum got home so early, so think I worked for about 1 hour and then I was done! Well, sometimes it is like that, and sometimes I work more. But anyway, my hostparents are being so nice. Feel like I want to thank them in some way, but don't know how?
I had a great night out too, with my lovely Gingerbread Latte, it is yummie! Friday is laundry day as usual(do it three times a week), and today it feels like it is tons of it, cause the cleaners change the twins beds too. Well, it is a part of my job, so it's just to do it and look happy about it. Actually it is not that bad, it is so easy doing it, so shouldn't complain about it..
Today I am gonna read the rest of the pages in my coursebook, thank god the course will end soon. BUT, a lot left to do before I can let it go. One essay, one oral presentation, one test and one final exan left!

Miami and New Orleans, here we come!
Me and Chris was supposed to go out for a powerwalk and book our spring break trip today, but she was too tired, so we skyped for about 1 hour instead.
And we booked... everything, I think. Flights and hotels.
