Halloween; Partying in NYC
I could sleep in yesterday, so slept until 10.30 and got up for breakfast.. and what do I see outside? SNOW!?! In the end on October.. earlier than at home, not okay. But I like the snow, but I don't think it'll stay long actually cause it's supposed to be 17 degrees again in the middle of next week.
Totally chaos in the traffic.. One thing is that most people here obviously don't know how to drive in snow. To fast or something like that, think I saw four cars that was on the side of the road on my way to Doylestown to Chris yesterday. And ahd to turn around several times cause of cars in the middle of the road, blocking both sides.. And they don't change to winter tires here either. I felt that in my car, which is supposed to be 4WD.. Don't know that though.. But my hostmum thought it would be a great idea putting on winter tires on my car since I'm driving the kids a lot and if it feels more safe for me that's good she said. I wrote a text and said thank you and that I ejoy staying with them and that the kids are awesome. She wrote that they think the same about me, made my day! :)
Well, when we where ready for leaving and at the busstaop, the bus was 45 minutes late, I'm lucky I wore my ski jacket and not the leatherjacket, cause when we arrived in NY it was even colder cause of the wind.
Well, I had an awesome night! It was incredible, never seen anything like that before. It was huge! Four floors and one VIP - part. Totally awesome! Danced the whole night long, how I have missed it! We had so fun, and when we went on the bus in the morning everybody were exhausted, we just fell asleep, haha. Slept all the way to Philly and on the train back to Doylestown I slept too.
Now I am back home and still tired. But have to stay awake so I can sleep tonight!
